Marco and Claudia van de Merwe
Marco
who is Dutch initially studied electronics and worked as a computer technician
in Canada. He went on to study
Theology and Cross-cultural studies in The Netherlands and did various internships with WEC
international in Portugal, Scotland, and the Middle East where he worked in a
boys home in Beirut. After
graduating he worked in a boys home from WEC International in Brazil.
For the last 5 years he has been working as a project manager with
various national and international companies.
Claudia is Brazilian and Dutch she is from the south of Brazil and is a qualified English teacher and has work for more then 15 years as executive secretary/assistant and as legal assistant with various companies in Brazil and the Netherlands. She has work for WEC International Brazil for various years and lead groups of young people on various short-term internships to countries throughout South America.

Ayres and Gabriela Teixeira
Ayres and Gabriela Teixeira have been working as church planters in the south of Brazil for the past 30 odd years. In these 30 years they have established at least 5 churches and have set up various foundations. They are officially retired but their dream has always been to reach out and help those less fortunate in the area they grow up in. They have both grown up on a farm and so this combination of ministry and practical experience in all aspects of the work is invaluable.
Graduated with a technical course in Teaching and with a Bachelor in Theology temporarily interrupted. Completed the YWAM's (Youth with a mission) Discipleship Training School in Natal/RN. Has experience in Church Planting, evangelism campaigns, social mobilization, music, theatrical drama in churches, parks, and open air fairs, preaching of the Word, discipleship, guidance / counseling, forming children's choirs, dance and theater groups, and alphabetization of adults. Zezé was sent by the Lord to bless this project, in October of 2005.
